I found this great deal at GameStop yesterday where you can buy every official Half-Life game ever made, sans Decay, for $39.99. This is really fantastic because a) I have 45 dollars saved up and this money gets me two full games and four smaller ones, plus some bonuses, which WOW; b) I’ve been wanting to get into this series since I played Portal 2, and c) you can actually physically purchase them at a GameStop, and they give you a code so you can go home and download them right to your computer off the website. I can still get it without having to ask my parents even though they don’t sell physical copies of the PC versions anymore. (I’m 18, guys. I shouldn’t have to coax my mom into letting me get a freaking video game.)

The problem is, I don’t have a PC. I have a Macbook Pro. And while Portal 2 - which I did buy a physical copy of - is perfectly compatible with Mac OS X, and they sell Mac-compatible Half-Life downloads over Steam, the Half-Life deal I want to get doesn’t have Mac OS X listed as a compatible operating system. Windows 7, XP, and Vista are the only ones mentioned. And I can’t buy the games off Steam, because I’d need a credit card and neither of my parents are about to give me money for video games.

So, does anyone know if GameStop’s Half-Life Complete pack works with Mac OS X? If not, is there any way I can get my Macbook to run a Windows OS without paying money I don’t have? Will I be able to run some games but not others if I buy this, and would that be worth it? Thanks for the help.

So at my house we have an intercom in everyone’s room and when you press “talk” and speak into it everyone can hear what you say

so you know how I’m always talking about my A;TLA rp? Well, we’ve been doing it in the same chat room for over a year now. A year! Do you know how long that is internet time? It’s a long time.

(Yes we do ‘person: talktalks *does an action*’ or ‘/me does a thing’  style RP do you wanna fight me about it that’s not the point here you silly man ) 

But recently, two members have been getting kicked out of the room every few minutes due to connectivity issues. Obviously this makes it hard to get a good RP goin’. We’re packing up our things and looking for a new room. 

If ANY of my followers know of some good chatrooms (with a few specifications) that we could use, I’d be FOREVER grateful. I’ll give you a free bit of writing or a drawing or whatever you want in return!
