Hey, Korra fandom! I think it’s time we sat down and had a talk about the resurgence in Korra Nation links.

One thing I noticed last time people were getting into it was that a lot of people were posting hidden links. Basically, they’d link to their KN account in the post title, but name it something completely unrelated to get unsuspecting people to click on it. It was a really gross and underhanded tactic, and the worst offenders had anywhere from 3000 to 5000 to 10,000 points because of it!

I’d like to imagine we could all just agree not to do that this time, but I know that’s not going to happen. So instead, before you click on any link from a Korra fan that isn’t labeled as a Korra Nation link, hover your mouse over it to see the url that you’ll be clicking. If it has the distinctive style of a KN link, don’t click. Anyone who resorts to cheating and lying - especially when they already have a large number of points! - doesn’t deserve your support.

Secondly! I can’t help but feel like the reset won’t really mean anything, as the people with the most popular blogs will just immediately start accruing the most points all over again. This is only a suggestion, and one you most certainly do NOT have to follow, but maybe the people who won the posters and were in the top 100 could… sit this one out? You’ve already beaten out everyone else, which was really impressive! And you should be proud of your prizes (unless you won them using the disguised link tactic, in which case you really don’t deserve them >_>). But hey, give other people a chance!

Thanks for reading this, dudes/dudettes/dude-neutrals.

Also, hey, here’s my link! Just because. http://sot.ag/NDUyNTEx/
