Here’s the piece I made for the “I’m the Art Show, Deal With It” gallery show! The kickstarter just ended without getting fully funded so I’m not sure what’s going on now…? I hope they still find a way to make it happen!
I was originally planning on doing something more ambitious than just a character pinup, but with everything else I have going on right now, I had to stick with something I knew I could get done pretty fast. So behold Queen Asami, about to doing something badass while looking totally glamorous at the same time.
So, we saw the first images from the finale today! You can find the trailer here.
Theories about “Turning the Tides”, “Skeletons in the Closet”, “Endgame”, bloodbending, Amon, and the Avatar Spirit itself under the cut.
I know I said my ideas were all dried up, but OOPS. I THEORIED ANYWAYS. And it’s a big one.
First of all, I’m going to list all the information we know so far about tomorrow’s episode.
And two screenshots:
And of course, the title: “When Extremes Meet”.
headcanon: the new team avatar is patrolling the streets of republic city because they read the zombie apocalypse articles and are on the lookout for the living dead
Of course, we all know that a great deal of information was revealed in yesterday’s episode, and several gamechanging events occurred. Most of the major characters’ lives are now irrevocably changed.
But hidden amongst Lin’s resignation, Hiroshi’s real motives, and Asami’s complete badassery, I found a devilishly hidden piece of info that may give us our first solid clue into Amon and his past.
So it turned out I was at least partially wrong about episode seven, thanks to that second preview clip. Oh well!
Here, have an Amon theory post.
Based on the events of “And the Winner Is…”, the new clip, and the TV Guide summary; as well as the six unexplained scenes left from the trailers and the Republic City game.
Given that the title of the episode is “The Aftermath”, it’s almost certain that the primary plot will concern the main characters reacting to Amon’s attack on the arena, in various ways.
So as I’m pretty sure we all know by now, we got some art and info on the mysterious Asami (first mentioned on the original VA list) today. And as it turns out, she’s related to, and the presumed daughter of, the just-as-mysterious Hiroshi Sato.
