Highlights from that one batshit insane thread on the Nick Boards.
So I wasn’t going to put this up until later tonight, but it’s a snow day, so I’ve got some free time. And of course that time goes to making fun of middle schoolers on the internet! It’s the only logical course of action.

Poor kid. Imagine them snickering away as they type the first post, hoping to get a reaction out of the many gullible people that crowd the Nick boards. But just as they hit enter, they realize that they misspelled one of the simplest words in the English language. Whoops! Better fix it!

To this kid, “the web” is made up of nothing but the Nick boards and Neopets.

HOLD THE PHONE, EVERYBODY, THIS TWELVE-YEAR-OLD HAS RELIABLE RESOURCES. OH SNAP. Looks like all the speculation over the release date was meaningless - this kid knows what’s going DOWN!

A… “proper Nick funrial”? Assuming this kid meant “funeral”, um, I wasn’t aware that Nick was in the habit of performing death rites for fictional characters that became deceased in the course of their narrative. I’d imagine seeing their beloved icons lowered into the silence of the grave - cold and unmoving, never to be seen alive again outside of hellishly expensive DVD sets - would be traumatizing for most kids.

You know, I’m pretty sure the first Korra fic was posted over a year ago. Just sayin’.
Oh, and hey, thanks for telling us the board we’re reading exists! Good work keeping the public informed, sir or madam.

SHUT UP WITH THE FREAKING WINKY FACES!
Bear with me here, people.
Isn’t it awfully convenient that the first leaks showed up right as Korra interest was starting to die down? How the leaks almost always come out on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, around the same time of day? How the leaker hasn’t been arrested yet, despite putting the biggest goddamn watermark ever all over every single leak?
So we know that a) the leaks follow a schedule of some sort and b) the leaks are at least partially used to get the Avatar fandom - undoubtedly Nick’s largest and most active fanbase - to visit the Winx fansite. Winx, I might remind you, is a new show also airing on Nick.
The leaker has said that he’ll be posting new clips and screenshots at regular intervals to “get people pumped about the show”. That seems an odd thing for a leaker to say - why hasn’t he just uploaded the full episode yet? What’s the point of stretching it out? There isn’t one (unless he just enjoys the attention, which is certainly possible), but if it’s actually a Nick employee, suddenly that makes sense.
What do we know now?
a) Leaks follow a schedule
b) Leaks attempt to draw attention to Winx, another new Nickelodeon show
c) Leaker is trying to pump up the fanbase without revealing the entire episode
Of course, most of this is speculation - but now, we move onto the more compelling evidence.
Think about it. The guy uploading Korra leaks online was using Megavideo, right? (If I’m wrong and he wasn’t, this post instantly becomes hilarious.) And a few days ago, he claimed he’d be uploading the entire episode sometime this week.
Maybe Korra was the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back, and once Nick found out about the leaks, they went to the government.
…..
Holy shit. Our fandom might have destroyed Megavideo.
